How credits, plans and commercial rights work on the Minimax Music 3 AI music generator.
What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are what the Minimax Music 3 AI music generator spends when it renders a track. A full song on the flagship Minimax Music 3 model costs 75 credits whatever length you ask for, so a 1,200-credit month is about 16 songs. Lighter models cost less — Suno V5 is 30 credits a song, which more than doubles the same allowance. Failed generations are not charged.
How many songs does each plan get me?
On the flagship Minimax Music 3 model, Starter is about 16 songs a month and Pro about 53. Pick a cheaper model in the generator and the same credits stretch further — on Suno V5 that becomes roughly 40 and 133 songs. Yearly plans bank the whole year up front: 14,400 and 48,000 credits.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Sign up and you get free credits to try the Minimax Music 3 AI music generator, with MP3 download and a shared generation queue. Free tracks are for personal use only, and commercial rights start on the paid plans.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly?
Yearly is the same plan billed once a year, so Starter works out to $7.9 a month and Pro to $23.9 a month. The full year of credits lands in your account at the start of the term.
Do unused credits roll over?
Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over. Credits bought as a one-off pack are different: they never expire, so they are the safer choice if your output is uneven.
Can I use the music commercially?
Paid plans include a commercial license for the songs you generate, so you can publish, monetise and use them in client work. The free plan is personal use only.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Generation pauses until your next renewal. You can either upgrade the plan or buy a credit pack, which tops up immediately and never expires.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and cancelling stops the next renewal while you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
What payment methods do you support?
Card payments are handled by Stripe, which covers Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the local methods Stripe offers in your country. We never see or store your card details.
